Once the drilling facility concept is decided, RigQuip takes responsibility for management of the complete drilling package. We provide our own drilling equipment and procure from others as required, managing manufacturing and quality, as well as controlling cost and risk. We plan and manage the construction phase on site, and we deploy our experienced drilling equipment technicians for the commissioning phase, taking the rig through mechanical completion and delivery.

Our services range from concept & feasibility studies and front end engineering design (FEED) through detailed design & engineering, and all of the system integration, interface management and controls engineering that follows. With these phases complete RigQuip can then take full accountability for the procurement, construction and commissioning phase.

As part of new build or upgrade projects, we apply our expert engineering knowledge to design and build bespoke equipment. We take the lead from concept to commissioning, often manufacturing equipment that represents an industry first or which must be tailored to specific asset or operating conditions.

In maintenance situations, our drilling equipment experts put our long-developed equipment repair procedures to work. Typically, this involves precision machining or welding and heat treatment to bring equipment back within a specified tolerance. Our technical and quality functions work together managing and controlling our API Q2 approved supply chain to deliver repairs that no one else can.

Our technical support engineers are highly experienced and will engage with you and your team to get your equipment back online. We’ll provide teleconference or video conference support initially, to understand the problems you’re experiencing. If we can’t guide you through a fix remotely we’ll be ready to mobilise RigQuip service personnel, tools and parts to resolve your issue on site as quickly and efficiently as possible.
